FONDREN ORTHOPEDIC GROUP EXPANDS GREATER HOUSTON FOOTPRINT WITH NEW PEARLAND MEDICAL OFFICE AND AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTER

PEARLAND, TEXAS (September 17, 2026) – Fondren Orthopedic, a leading orthopedic surgery group in Houston, announced today the expansion of a new medical office and ambulatory surgery center in Pearland, Texas. The expansion, led by renowned General Orthopedic Specialist, Dr. Robert Burke, represents a significant step in Fondren Orthopedic’s continued growth in the Greater Houston area, allowing the group to serve a growing number of patients while expanding the range of services available to them in the Pearland community.

Located at 11713 Shadow Creek Parkway, the 4,200-square-foot medical office features 12 exam rooms, while the adjoining 8,000-square-foot ambulatory surgery center includes two operating rooms and two treatment rooms. This will allow the practice to perform multiple procedures at once and see patients for both consultations and surgical care under one roof. The Pearland location offers general orthopedic care, including treatment for sports-related injuries, as well as hip, knee, shoulder and spine procedures. Together, the facilities provide Pearland-area residents with comprehensive, close-to-home access to a high level of orthopedic care.
Dr. Burke, a general orthopedic specialist with nearly 40 years of experience, will continue his practice in Pearland from the new office, specializing in joint replacement, arthroscopy and cartilage restoration. His patients span every age and stage of life, including teenagers recovering from sports injuries and older adults seeking joint replacement, reflecting the comprehensive, full-spectrum orthopedic care he brings to the community. Several additional doctors will be practicing at the office including Dr. Houtan Taba, Dr. Wame Waggenspack and Dr. Eugene Stautberg.
A grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony was hosted on September 17, 2026 and was attended by notable community groups and organizations such as the Pearland Chamber of Commerce, EMS and Police officers from Pearland and Manvel, and representatives from Visit Pearland.
