Great article. I'd push back slightly on the conclusion — the sample size in the cited study is too small to draw population-level inferences. That said, the directional signal is compelling and worth a larger RCT.

From an implant design perspective, the wear data is consistent with what we see in our internal testing. The real question is long-term fixation under cyclic loading — that's where the next generation of coatings will matter most.
