Spine’s Robot Revolution: Big Momentum, Expanding Footprint

A national analysis of more than two million spinal fusion hospitalizations found that navigation and robotic assistance gained substantial ground between 2016 and 2022. Across the entire period, 7.4% of cases incorporated either NAV or robotic assist. By 2022 (4 years ago), their combined share almost doubled to 13.3%.
