Does Polyethylene Cross-Linking Matter in Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty?

For decades, polyethylene wear has occupied center stage in hip and knee arthroplasty. In reverse total shoulder arthroplasty, however, the conversation has been less settled. Highly crosslinked polyethylene promises greater resistance to wear, but whether that laboratory advantage translates into fewer revisions has remained uncertain.
