A new 10-year retrospective of 25,095 arthroplasty procedures confirms, again, that aspirin, simple aspirin, remains the most commonly used venous thromboembolism (VTE) prophylaxis strategy over the past decade. The study, “Ten-Year Trends in Venous Thromboembolism Prophylaxis at a High-Volume Arthroplasty Center,” was published in the June 15, 2025 issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
